Meat-eating has never been regarded as environmentally friendly, until now.

Nose2Tail is the most ecologically-friendly meaty restaurant we can think of; nothing is wasted. The concept is genius: every day, they purchase a couple of whole, freshly-slaughtered animals, and the rest of the day is spent stripping them of everything edible, from nose to tail. The food is well-prepared, the environment friendly and very Vesterbro (i.e. hip). Last time we visited, there was live music, and the waiters gave out free shots of Fernet Branca. It's a great place for a nice dinner, before an even nicer evening in the city.

Det bliver altid svært at argumentere for, at kødspisning er bæredygtigt, men når det nu skal være, så er Nose2tail madbodega det bedste bud på en kødrestaurant med respekt for miljøet – der går intet til spilde. Konceptet er genialt – Hver dag køber de et par hele dyr og så serveres der mad fra hele dyret – fra næse til hale. Maden er veltilberedt og stemningen er hyggelig og vesterbrosk. Da vi besøgte stedet, var der live-musik og tjenerne uddelte gratis Fernet branca-shots. Det er dejligt sted at få sig en lækker middag, inden man ramler videre ud i kødbyens nattelige forlystelser.
